Logistic management requires smart solutions. In the daily practice of the maritime sector a stowage-plan for loading ships’cargo-holds is usually made with the help of Excel sheets and a CAD-programme (AutoCAD or Bricscad ). There is no link between the two systems. That is why the drawing, done by hand, for the optimal utilization of the loading capacity is a time and money consuming job.

As soon as the link has been made, the user simply ‘picks up’and ‘drags’ all single components through the cargo-hold and develops an optimal stowage-plan in this way. The work will be even simpler by recording the ground-plan only once in PackList2CAD. The comput software also offers the posibility to use an existing drawing as an undersheet.
